The modem configuration is a fairly simple process that does not require great knowledge of networks (if you want to deepen it, you will find a general explanation of how the network works at this link).
The steps to follow differ slightly from modem to modem and from modems/routers of different manufacturers.
However, this procedure is valid in 99% of cases.
- Connect to the address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 (be careful that 0 is zero and not the letter O)
- If this is the first time you have logged in, the username and password to be entered are the default ones (username: admin password: admin). If they do not work, check in your modem/router documentation which default credentials have been used by the device manufacturer.
